I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to request a leave of absence from school for the period of 26th August 2023 to 28th August 2023. I regret to inform you that I have been suffering from a severe case of diarrhoea, which has made it extremely difficult for me to attend school during this time. My health has been deteriorating, and I have been under medical treatment to recover as quickly as possible.

I understand the importance of regular attendance and keeping up with my studies, but due to my medical condition, I am unable to do so at the moment. I kindly request your permission to grant me leave for the mentioned dates so that I can focus on my recovery and return to school in good health.

I assure you that I will make every effort to catch up on the missed lessons and assignments as soon as I am back in school. I understand the value of my education and am committed to maintaining a good academic record.

I have attached the medical certificate and doctor’s recommendation with this application for your reference. I would be immensely grateful if you could consider my request and grant me the leave of absence.
